Job Summary
We are looking for energetic Teaching Assistants to join our team! As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with fun and enriching after-school activities
- Support homework and encouraging learning in creative ways
- Enforce classroom rules and procedures
- Promote positive behavior and create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with your lead teacher to help encourage learning with students
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with children and families
- Creative, flexible, and able to adapt activities to meet student needs
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
